I made my way into the kitchen not bothering with the lights, the illumination from the lamp over the worktop being enough to navigate by.  Neelix had surpassed himself with the produce that he had obtained from the Food Market at the Space Station that we'd visited. Even some of it looked edible. I needed something light to eat, I needed something other than coffee inside me,  I needed to sit and calm my disordered thoughts, I needed to stop sounding like my Astrometrics Officer, I needed to stop thinking about her and where she was and with whom... I banged the bowl onto the worktop to try to bring myself back to reality. I had to deal with the fact that She was with Him. I'd watched them leave the ship together, dressed for dinner,  his big bearlike hand holding onto her human one, possessive, his once charming smile now seeming more like a smirk as he bid me a pleasant evening, Seven uttering a similar platitude, and perhaps my wishful imagination but her  gaze not quite able to fully meet mine.

I took a deep breath trying to centre myself, then felt it. The hairs on the back of my neck stood on end and I actually felt my ears prick at the faintest rustle of breath behind me.   I couldn't help the delicious shiver that skittered down my spine before I tried to get hold of my baser instincts and prepared to deal with what was behind me.

But one word, spoken so quietly, told me everything. It answered every question I'd ever had about myself, it solved puzzles, explained riddles, told me the secrets of the Universe and in a moment I was utterly, irrevocably Lost.

'Kathryn'

I closed my eyes against the onslaught of emotion that word invoked. I couldn't move and was so absolutely aware I felt the air around me warm as the body behind mine drew closer.  She said it again and every nerve in my body ignited.

'Kathryn'

I turned and faced her, unable to hide the desire from my eyes, knowing my face was flushed, my lips parted, breath shortened.  I just about managed to sound human when I asked quietly 'Your dinner date?'

'I left' she simply stated. Her gaze was on me and it felt physical, her eyes wandered my face shamelessly. I needed just a little more information.

'Didn't like the food?' I sounded casual. Boy, I was good at this. Years of practice.

She moved an inch closer and I could feel her breath on my face, saw her pupils dilate, saw her inhale just enough to realise she knew I was aroused. 'Neither the food nor the company' she whispered.

My voice had dropped a register and I couldn't resist asking 'Are you hungry?  I could smell her scent, clean skin with a hint of musk and perhaps...lavender? Had she been using my perfume?

She pinned me in place with her eyes and gave me no doubt that she knew what was happening between us. 'Starving'. I saw a faint flush begin to creep up her throat and couldn't take my eyes from her mouth. I made a tentative suggestion '.... we could eat here, but I wouldn't want us to be interrupted..'

'Kathryn, there is a Borg encryption lock on the door, it was activated as soon as you entered the room and can only be removed at either your command or mine'. She saw my look of surprise and  I almost collapsed when I felt the gentlest brush of her fingertips against my hip. 'I know you Kathryn' she murmured, 'I know you walk the corridors of your ship at night instead of sleeping, I know you see me look at you,  I know you look at me. I knew you would come here this evening, I know what there is between us and I want to do this...'

I realised I was holding my breath as she reached past me for the bowl I'd forgotten about. She moved to within a hairs breadth of me, our lips barely apart and bought a piece of fruit up to my lips, holding it by the stem, she stroked it across my bottom lip and whispered 'I want you to take this Karthyn'. I closed my eyes momentarily at the intensity of her gaze and the meaning of her action, then opened them again as the tip of my tongue flickered out and caught her fingertip. Again she brushed the fruit against my mouth, her lips closing in on it the same time as mine. She whispered 'Take my cherry, Karthyn'. I felt it press against my teeth then slip between my lips then all I felt were Seven's lips on mine and a deep moan was wrung from both of us  as the fruit burst onto our tongues and I slid my hands around her waist, pulling her body hard against mine. Her fingers were in my hair holding me and possessing me in a way I'd never experienced before. My thigh slid between hers feeling the heat between her legs and I blindly groped behind me, reaching for another piece of fruit, pulling back from her momentarily to trace light fingertips over the smooth skin of her lips, finding myself utterly entranced at their shape and texture. Seven's breathing became harsher as I slid my fingertips into the wetness and I moaned at the feeling of her tongue against the sensitive pads of my fingers. I slid the fruit into her mouth and saw white teeth bite down onto the soft flesh, then  quickly replaced my fingers with my lips against hers and my tongue between her lips.

I found the zip of her dress, pulling the garment down over her shoulders, over her hips then pushing her back so I could remove the rest of my uniform. Her lips were red and glistened in the light and she watched my every move, entranced as I pushed her back, kneeling across her thighs and slowly, slowly, inching her pants over her hips. I left them in place for a while and couldn't hide a seductive grin as she moaned and arched against me. I took a fat, heavy cherry and touched it to her lips, watching her take a small bite,  then stroked it down over her chin, down the ivory length of her throat, watching the faint trail of juice it left between her breasts, over her stomach, along the bands of her implant to her pants, where i trailed the subtle weight of it over the cotton of her underwear, over the darker centre where I could see her wetness had seeped through. I stroked the cherry down between her legs and she parted her thighs slightly, her breathing harsh. It was a simple plea 'Kathryn, please..' I took hold of her pants and inched them over her hips bit by bit, the sounds she was making only encouraging me to go slower, then I leaned forwards and brushed my lips over the newly revealed blonde hair between her thighs, the scent of Seven's arousal filling my senses and driving me to fever pitch.
